Busy time in Oak

Posted: May 18, 2023 by: Sian Peel (speel) on: Oak Class

This term has been a very busy one in Oak Class.  Some of our students attend Runshaw College on a Wednesday morning where we have been involved in lots of different activities. We have been on a nature trail around Runshaw College grounds and joined in with team building exercises.  We have planted seeds in the greenhouse and watered them each week ready to bring home on our last day at Runshaw.  We have made pizza and we had a theatre tour and tried prop clothes on which we all enjoyed.  Conductive Education has been a regular activity at The Coppice.  It involves some pupils accessing equipment such as benches, wedges that improves their muscle tone. 'bikeability' from South Ribble Borough Council has been in school each week which allowed students to access various bikes and ride them around the playground.  This was a huge success!  Assemblies have begun, lovely to get together again, especially singing some of our favourite songs.  M and M productions visited us and put on a performance of 'The Secret Garden' which everyone enjoyed.
