P.E

Team work!

Sian Peel (speel) on: P.E

This is the first blog of the year to show how much we have achieved in PE - and there is so much to tell you.

We have had a wonderful term so far!! Pupils from a range of classes have taken part in a kurling competition and both teams were successful by achieving 1st  and 3rd  in their respective competitions. They were each awarded a trophy and a medal.

Below is a picture of both teams looking very proud and happy to be winners!!!!

Some pupils are working hard on their M.O.V.E (Movement Opportunities Via Education) programmes this year and continue to make significant progress. We are extremely proud of them all!

We have a few upcoming events from now up until summer. They are as follows; Dance from the Heart training to get ready for the big roadshow. This year the theme for the dance is SPACE and our new P.E.S.S (Physical Education School Sports) apprentice Melissa is helping out and getting us all ready for the fun morning of dance.

Key events for the diary are the Swimming Gala at Bamber Bridge Leisure Centre on 4th April and Sports Day on the 27th June .

During the year some pupils continue to have the opportunity to go to Space, Rebound Therapy and Monkey Magic as well as receiving specialist coaching at the Tennis Centre.

After school Club has started again with Dance on a Thursday from 3.15 - 4.15. The children are having a good time,  being creative and keeping fit.

We look forward to keeping in touch and will be back with our next blog soon!!!
